At Kincaid Creative, custom design is at the heart of everything we create. When you choose a design from our website, you’re not using a template generator—you’re beginning a collaborative process. Your colors, ideas, and details make each piece uniquely yours. Below is a guide to what you can expect after your purchase.

Custom Projects

Have something unique in mind? We’d love to hear about it. Because each project varies in scope and detail, we don’t offer all options for direct checkout. Instead, we’ll create a custom quote based on your needs and timeline. From concept to completion, we’ll work together to create something thoughtful, refined, and truly one of a kind.

Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitations are typically mailed 8 weeks prior to your event, or 12–16 weeks for destination weddings. Save the dates are sent 6–8 months in advance, or 9–12 months for destination celebrations. Please allow 6–8 weeks for design and production, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully created, refined, and printed to perfection.

Stationery & Paper Goods

Once all details are received, you can expect your first proof within 48 hours. If additional information, color selections, or design direction is needed, you’ll receive a follow-up email within that time to begin the process. After final approval, production typically takes 3–4 weeks, with careful attention to materials, printing, and finishing details.

Design Resources

A collection of thoughtfully curated color palettes, envelopes, fonts, and paper options to guide your stationery selections. From playful hues to earthy, petal, and enchanting tones, these resources help bring together color, typography, and detail into a cohesive, beautifully printed piece. While many options are shown, there are always more to explore. If you have a specific color in mind, I’m happy to check with my vendors to find the closest match.

  • Personalized stationery, business cards, and custom greeting cards
    Custom orders can take 3-4 weeks, or longer, depending on the details of each project. Custom letterpress printed projects require design time, printing plates, and paper to be ordered before I run them through my manually operated printing press. It's a labor of love, but it's worth the wait.

    Wedding invitations
    Wedding Suites can take up to 8 weeks. Please plan 8 weeks ahead of schedule to ensure they are mailed on-time. Also, plan to send out completed invitations 8 weeks prior to your wedding date.

    Etsy Orders
    All orders of in-stock greeting cards and paper goods ordered on Etsy will ship within 1-3 business days. I always try to get your order in the mail as soon as I can to ensure quick and smooth delivery. I offer expedited shipping options if you need your order by a specific date.

    All orders of in-stock greeting cards and paper goods ordered on Faire Wholesale will ship within 2-6 business days. I always try to get your order in the mail as soon as I can to ensure quick and smooth delivery.

  • Of course. Custom stationery is one of the best ways to create something truly personal. We’ll work together to develop a design that reflects your style and results in a stationery set that feels thoughtfully tailored to you.

  • Yes, of course. I’m happy to help explore available envelope and paper colors to find the perfect combination. Because ink is mixed by hand, we have virtually limitless possibilities to create a custom color that complements your stationery beautifully.

  • Absolutely. At Kincaid Creative, custom design is at the heart of what we do. We’ll work together to develop a unique concept inspired by your vision, creating an invitation suite that is thoughtfully tailored to your wedding and unlike anything else.

  • Yes. Every invitation suite is carefully assembled with attention to detail, including envelope liners, mounting invitations to pocket folders or backer cards, vellum wraps, and belly bands. For couples who prefer a seamless experience, we also offer full mailing preparation—stuffing, sealing, and delivering your invitations—for an additional fee that includes postage and labor.

  • When you choose Kincaid Creative, you’re working with a graphic designer, not a template generator. We’ll talk through color changes and design adjustments together to ensure your invitation suite is thoughtfully tailored to your wedding and reflects your personal style.

  • I have a very short list of font options to choose from for custom stationery, however, font options are virtually limitless. If you love one of the designs and want to see some different font options, design services are included in your purchase! We can work together to find the perfect font choice for your project.

  • When you choose Kincaid Creative, you’re working with a graphic designer, not a template generator. While I do have recommended color options and an extended color palette, there are definitely more to discover. We will find the perfect combination of paper, colors, and ink for your vision to come to life.

  • Postage costs can vary depending on the weight, size, and thickness of your invitation suite. In some cases, a fully assembled suite may cost the same as sending a small parcel. I always recommend bringing a complete sample to the post office before purchasing stamps so you can confirm the exact postage and plan ahead—avoiding the need to add extra stamps at the last minute that may disrupt the overall look of your outer envelope.

  • Paper used for coasters is highly absorbent, heavy-duty paper, designed for liquid retention and durability. While they are reusable, they are designed for short-term use and will need to be tossed after 1-5 uses.

  • Yes, absolutely. When you choose Kincaid Creative, you’re working directly with a graphic designer. We’ll talk through your ideas, style, and details to create custom business cards that feel personal and perfectly suited to you or your brand.

  • Yes, there is an abundance of paper colors to choose from. I work with several trusted vendors, allowing us to find the color that best brings your vision to life.

  • For envelopes that match the 100% cotton papers shown above, I typically recommend the square flap style. A version of the pointed flap is available, though many clients prefer the refined look of the euro-flap envelopes offered in the color palette selections. If a euro flap is your preference, we can absolutely select a paper color from the extended color palette and coordinate with matching envelopes. While it may not be 100% cotton, it remains a lovely and cohesive choice.

  • Because each ink color is mixed by hand, the range of possibilities is nearly limitless. We can match your envelopes, select from the curated palettes, or work from inspiration you provide to create a color that closely reflects your vision.

  • The 100% cotton paper is a favorite in the Kincaid Creative Letterpress Studio. It has a soft surface, perfect for writing on, and letterpress printing is ideal on the plush texture. It is also made from the cotton plant rather than wood pulp, making it a 100% tree-free eco-friendly option.

  • Yes, while most of the work we do is custom designed in-house, we are able to print your letterpress friendly artwork on our presses. There will be a standard setup fee and of course, the cost of printing. We are always happy to help with client-designed projects.

  • Yes, in some cases, it is recommended to use both digital and letterpress printing methods. It can actually produce quite stunning results!

  • All my prices are listed in each product. This will give you an idea of what each stationery item would cost. For custom projects, each project is different, so each estimate is based on the needs of the client. Don’t be afraid to come in for a free consultation; I won’t bite. It’s important to talk through your ideas or get some direction if you have no idea what you need! I can put together an estimate or offer some ideas that fit your budget.

  • Not at all! We’re a full-service creative print design studio, and we create designs for all types of printing. From brand development to marketing materials, we can guide you on the best approach for each project. We know that not every design is suited for letterpress, and we’ll recommend the ideal printing method to fit your business and your specific needs.

  • I provide design files for projects such as logos and branding elements. Please note that design files for letterpress-printed projects are not included—these designs remain the exclusive property of Kincaid Creative.
