With over four decades of experience in the entertainment industry- as both performer and producer- Doug serves as KCS's Creative Director, providing clients with practical experience in nearly every facet of show business, including marketing and promotion, stage and television productions, script writing, costuming, puppetry, national live promotions, theme parks, fairs, festivals, and haunted attractions.
Prior to joining KCS, Doug served as a performer, designer, and character/puppet builder for Six Flags. In 1977, Doug co-founded The Kincaid Karacter Company, a nationally recognized character mascot company that continues to design and manufacture high quality mascot costumes and training programs for companies such as Anheuser-Busch, The St. Louis Cardinals, Universal Studios, The Home Depot, M-TV, Sea World, Opryland, KFC, and Nickelodeon. As a professional puppeteer, he wrote, built puppets for, and performed in two Emmy award winning children's programs for CBS/Viacom for nearly 20 years, as well as training with Jim Henson's Muppets at The Disney-MGM Studios in the early 1990's.
In the mid-1990's, Doug served as an Event Producer for Marketing Mix, a public relations firm, where he helped coordinate national promotions for both Discover Card and HBO. Doug's dedication to meeting the needs of clients in the entertainment industry has been recognized many times in both print and television, and in the receipt of three Emmys for his television work.
